Backbone Trading HK are a fruit trading company based in HongKong. The Paulin family has been working with Tyson Leung, Director of Backbone Trading HK Ltd, for over 20 years. Backbone are currently working with Clyde Orchards to deliver Picnic Cherries exclusively into Hong Kong and China.

Clutha Valley Exports

CVE (Clutha Valley Exports) is a partnership of Clyde Orchards and the Hinton Family that was established over 25 years ago when the export of New Zealand stonefruit was very much in it’s infancy. The company has grown over the years and the CVE brand is now one of the most recognised and established in the Asian market. Buyers seek out CVE produce knowing that high quality and consistency can always be relied on. CVE has worked with companies such as Walker-Grow Rite since it’s inception.

During the past 30 years, our order went from 1 ton per week to 8-10 tons a day! Cravo Equipment Limited

Cravo work with growers around the world to create more profitable production systems that utilise automatic retractable roofs. The introduction of Cravo harvesting allows Clyde Orchards to produce premium cherries several weeks earlier than traditional outdoor crops.

Clyde Orchards was the first orchard in New Zealand to build a Cravo retractable roof house – we now have two Cravo houses located on our Earnscleugh properties.
